I was reading an article in the Boston Herald about a father that paid his kid $200 to stay off Facebook until the end of the school year.

Is Facebook losing face?

But, it seems like it was "easy money" for the kid -- she was already bored of Facebook.

..and it seems a lot of other people are too.

"...a new Pew Research Center report that says more than 60 percent of Facebook users have given up the site for weeks at a time because they’re bored, too."
