This is the age old privacy issue, once again. I have been warning of this for a long time and the vast majority of users of any social media site just sleepwalk into these things.

The answer is simple, just don't put the data there in the first place.

Let's not just single out FB, it's the same with anything you go online with, whether scraped or officially harvested.
