Is there some good reason for NOT using Facebook "Like" buttons?
We are about to launch our company Facebook page. In order to build awareness and also to get lots of Facebook "Likes", we were thinking of adding Facebook "Like" buttons onto our website.
However, looking at big sites like Apple, Amazon, Adobe, Dell, Sony, Insight... none of them seem to have Facebook Like buttons!
What they do have is tend to have is Facebook, (and usually Twitter & Linked In) *share* buttons.
What am I missing here?
Surely what everyone wants is to get lots of "Likes". How should we build up our Likes? It it better to put a share button then to put a Like button? If so how does one go about getting Facebook Likes? (!)
