it became clear that the way for our team to have the biggest impact was to work together

Not the first thing that would come to my mind when facebook/google comes calling. That's right up there with 'it's for the children'.

They got a big paycheck. Good for them, but let's not pretend that this was anything other than a ka-ching moment :).
