No, I've been noticing this on newly created pages with no likes yet. I'll click the button myself and usually it will count one like and I'll be able to see the like on my facebook page as well.

When it doesn't work, the count only shows up for a split second then disappears and never returns and the like never shows up on my facebook page at all.
