Hi, I manage a social profile for a product. I have spent hours finding related pages and customers and have begun following people, and interacting with them over the course of 2 months.
We also have our vanity domain secured.
I've just been overseas and tried to update my account from there. When I logged in, I was told I couldn't access my account because I was in a different country? (wow, people travel, isn't that amazing!).
Anyway, one of the security questions is:
In order to proceed, Facebook needs to verify that you are the owner of this account. To do this, please identify the people tagged in the following series of photos.
To pass, you cannot get any answers wrong. If you aren't sure about a question, please skip it. You can only skip 2 questions.
So here's the thing - I've got about 50 new friends, most of them are personalities have been interested in our product and have also added me as "friend" as well as following my page. I don't know these people personally and I certainly couldn't identify them in photos.
So how can I release the hold on my account? Any ideas? Emailing Facebook doesn't really seem like a viable option.
