It's possible that you need to be a supporter, not just a member (though I could be wrong) to get the discount.

Also, book your hotel stay soon - I wouldn't be surprised if it sells out, and the pubcon hotel discount is pretty good. And you probably want to stay at the pubcon hotel because it's where all the good looking people stay.
