This is my day for "funny you should say that" because only yesterday I noticed "Dnt:" headers for the first time. (Quick check shows that I've been getting them for ages, just never happened to notice before.)
Ongoing question: The browser's prefs typically say something like "(don't) allow websites to track me". Is it assumed that the user knows what this means? Personally I have absolutely no idea-- and I kinda think I know marginally more than the statistical average MSIE user. What, if anything, does my server do with the header?
engine, the link behind "we covered" leads to a single post in the MSIE forum. I can't believe there wasn't some further discussion somewhere.
