Depends what the warning is. If it's one of those "text color is the same as background color" type warnings then yup, it should have no effect on anything.
Then there's the question of what "correctly" means. You need to make absolutely sure that you don't really mean "as intended". They may or may not be the same thing.
Chrome and Safari usually-- but not always-- come out similar. Both webkit-based. But if mozilla (Firefox and its relatives) and Opera and the current MSIE* all do something else, there's a problem.
Come to think of it: Do the other browsers all do the same "something else", or are they all different?
* Without getting into a fight, can we stipulate that MSIE <=6 will not behave either as expected or as intended, and sometimes not even correctly?
