has two circular gifs. Hovering over either text link causes a rollover between the two gifs.

In IE, but not in other tested browsers, the hover brings on a black line round the the gifs before executing the rollover.

The gifs are larger than the size at which they're used; I tried reducing the size in several image processors, but every time, the quality was worse.

Any suggestions?
