I'd be very disappointed to see vBulletin used. I'm not sure what software is being used in WebmasterWorld (could it be published so people could get involved in fixing things that annoy them?) but it's a lot easier to use than vBulletin.

That said, I think (and it's been a while since I subscribed to a lively thread so this might have changed) that showing the text of replies in the email notifications is one place where other boards do it better than WebmasterWorld.
