How do you handle the situation where someone posts something, others reply, and then the original poster goes back and changes his/her post such that the replies no longer make any sense?
Or the situation where someone posts something inflammatory, others react, and then the OP goes back and changes his post so that he/she looks "innocent" and the respondents look unreasonable?
Do you agree that at some point there's a trade-off between "ownership" and "accountability" -- and that at some point, it could be said that the entire community of participants jointly owns the entire thread?
