I always found it best to stay quiet and observe and read everything. I saw way too many floggings for asking "newbie" questions so I just perused, learned and succeeded without discussion here. It is the same policies of WebmasterWorld that are in discussion as to why I've been quiet. I took my discussions elsewhere.
Yes, absolutely I guarantee it. The growth of user participation and social integration is not a question of if it should be, it's a question of when all sites will either give way or give up. Of course there will be little old dusty places that will survive for ages in the SERPS but that doesn't mean they survive in discussion, numbers, engagement and mentions in the real world, which the social world is but a reflection of.
The most talk WebmasterWorld has ever had on Twitter is now, when they are asking for help. It's already bolstering mentions, backlinks and interest in the site. Allowing users to propel this into the social networks is a no brainer.
