WebmasterWorld is about content, site design is about "form"
Please keep it focussed on content.
I treasure the lack of 1998 (re-invented as "web2.0") clutter.

WebmasterWorld team, please don't be pressured into directing efforts into design that has no connection to function.

At some point this "design" will likely be fashionable again - and the point is that this is one of forums likely to still be around.
A longevity that isn't currently "fasionable" either ;)
