I've been away for more than a year (nothing to do with WebmasterWorld itself*), stopped by a couple of weeks ago and have been lurking here and there since. I've got to say that I still agree with all the sentiments expressed above as to why this is still a special board. Many of the old nicks are still around asking intelligent questions and dispensing solid advice; and there's a bunch of relatively new folks also picking up the ball.
I feel that no matter what changes are made as a result of this feedback days discussion -- cosmetic, functional, whatever -- it really all comes down to Brett, the admins and the mods giving pros and aspiring pros a professional atmosphere for discussion. That simply cannot change, and I don't expect it will.
*Just woke up one morning and realized I was tired of Google, Google, Google 24/7 and decided to give myself a one-year break from all boards and simply concentrate on Content, Content, Content. Turned out to be a bit more than a year and I can't say I'm sorry I did it.
