The reason I came to WW in the first place is that there is a certain kind of authenticity to the tone of the site. That's hard to pin down, but it's always been there.
At that time there were few sources of reliable information about the topics discussed here, especially SEO and monitization. The web was littered (and still is, probably, I haven't actually checked for some time) with crappy, spammy "make tons of money in your sleep! But wait, there's more!" type of sites with a lot of very schwaggy info. Amidst that, this site was a breath of fresh air.
The ideas discussed here may not always be accurate or correct, but they are nearly always authentic (in that they represent the genuine opinion of the poster). Whatever you do, make sure you maintain that atmosphere, it's what makes this forum great.
Now there are other forums with genuine info (heck, there are even books on SEO, what a concept!), but this forum still stands out as more authentic and well-informed than most other sources. Make sure it stays that way.
