Windows XP and Windows 2000 use Tahoma. From Vista they started using Segoe UI.
There are lots of tutorials on the net that tell you how to change the system font of particular Windows operating systems. I usually leave my system fonts alone because changing them can bring up an entirely new set of problems if not done correctly.
