I have pcs, touch screens, laptops and netbooks using various versions of 7 and, honestly, I detest it...Vista Basic crucifies it in my opinion plus I have seen the trailers for Win 8 and I am dreading it.

Am I the only person who feels this way?

Not according to my family and office staff, none of them prefer 7 over Vista other than the faster start-up time.

And what's worse is trying to BUY a new Vista licence. MS will make you jump through hoops to validate a system only to say it is no longer supported and not available to purchase.

Is this where the Russians will "win" with their new OS?
