That's an LGA 1156 chip, so you're getting a P55 motherboard. You should be able to max out at 16 gig.
Personally, I would buy 4 gig to start. That will set you back around $100. Later on, you can always add another 4 gig. I would think 8 gig should last the next five years - until your next machine.
The most memory intensive thing I do is run virtual machines. That's the only time I find 2 gig inadequate.
I'm pretty sure a 32 bit application can only address 2 gigs of memory, so you might want to think about that too.
