And they bought skype for more than they would probably have to pay for Y if they bought it without "partners"..

Nah ..if this is true then "approval" and "monopoly" and "legislation" figures somewhere in the calculations..

CPPIB couldn't run it themselves ..and I cant believe that the CPPIB thought this one up ..that would be like coming home to your wife in Toronto in your apartment on the 20th floor and saying hey honey ..I'm thinking of buying some goats, putting down grass in the lounge and making cheese and yogurt in the bathroom" :)
