Microsoft is in a bad position. You can not negotiate if you are not willing to walk away. I really don't see how microsoft owning Yahoo will improve Yahoo or MSFT's ability to compete. They should know they are competing with a BRAND name which is difficult to overcome. Throwing money at things doesn't always beat out a brand name.
