Great news if they can pull this off quickly. Skype from Xbox 360 to Windows Desktop to Windows Phone and eventually windows tablets would be an amazing product. Integrate it with MSN & Lync, keep it international and commit to maintaining OSX/Linux/iOS/BB/Android versions and it may pay off - especially as LTE/4g networks expand.. sooner or later with IP services you won't need phone AND internet, just internet.
