Too little and too late. From historical prescriptive, the brand "hotmail" has a negative stigma: it just doesn't have the resume/CV quality email. Every-time I see a hotmail address in a resume I am amused.
But from a features perspective, hotmail hasn't evolved in 10 years maybe. The only change was the graphic design, but that was botched too.
Their statistics of having the most users are bogus. I still have my hotmail, but it is a living-dead account, and I suspect the majority are. As for the number of messages handled, I have only one word: spam.
