If you are ecommerce and your vid is > than 2 minutes you've lost your audience. If you are a bamboozle scammer your infomercial needs to be 22 minutes. If you are a clever video producer with no agent, or money, then 4 minutes is sufficient, and if Nobel quality 5 minutes will ger 'er done.
Nothing wrong with Youtube, everything wrong with copyright theft, and worse: the most egregious in that regard are well-meaning idiots who just want to "share"...
That said, 15 minutes of "home movies" makes me cringe exactly the same way I did during the 8mm home movies my Aunts and Uncles and My Family Too used to make us watch during family gatherings.
