After having consulted several companies to shoot web videos for us, we decided that it would be better to tape, edit and post our own. This will allow us to test certain formats and quickly tape/upload newsworthy segments.

Since we have no experience in this area, I was hoping we could get some help from some of the web video experts on here.

1. What type of camera?
2. Microphone options?
3. Lighting and Backdrop options?
4. Video editing software?
5. Other thoughts and general advice?
