You don't really need different video software. Vegas Pro has unlimited video tracks, and certainly should be able to key a title over a live background. You do need to learn how to build the title graphics, or find something or someone who will do it for you.

A graphics editor might be built in, or you may have to use separate software... but you shouldn't keep changing video editors to get a title background. That's like buying a new house to get a couch you like.
