We have ended up with a page with 5 outbound links on it, all with good descriptions of the sites we link to. These pages get some internal PR with nice internal linking...ie "Widgets information page".....and we appear in google top 10 for "Widgets information". It surprised us when we first saw it....now we try to link out to everyone in our related fields. We do ask for links back but it not our major concern.
