First question – great and yes, you will earn Google bennies either directly or indirectly from the linking.

Second question – I take it you want to convert those visitors to consumers? I would look to what they might be interested in that compliments what your site is about. I’d look at software, books, and other information resources. Great chance to plug a good hub if you have one. Perhaps you could resale text advertising for a peripheral market, selling them on the benefits of linking from your site. Rotate for a month the different ideas until you find a fit.
