I've got another question. <snip asking paynt for direct help>

I have a site offering widget services. What I did recently was create an article section that addresses some issues about widgets that only a small percentage of people (relative to the number of sites about widgets) care to write/practice/teach. Anyway ever since I've put it up I managed to get about 20 links from highly established sites (educational, universities, informational etc etc) to that section mydomain.com/section.html.

Now these links have very high PR (mostly 6 or 7 and one has even 8) and with a low number of links on the page. Can I expect a lot of PR being passed from section.html (who gets it directly from the inbound links) to index.html and raise the PR of the index page?

Leaving PR aside, I've started getting a lot of traffic from these sites and Google to this informational section. Now someone once said here that any sort of traffic is good traffic. My question is how do I put this traffic to good use because the site, after all, offers widget services. The trouble is the informational section is addressed primarly to widget makers and not buyers....

Any suggestion is much appreciated.
