When we were working for our own websites, our target was 1 link a day per person and any low quality was discouraged with fines (Result, ranking in top 3 for many top insurance words, no update affects, ranking there for last 8 years). Now when we are working for over 200 projects a month, we need to redefine standards for WIN-WIN.
The challenge is costing per link (We only build content link, within the content and from good website): At present the costing is around $18.5, I want to cut it down to $10 to $5 ... It is only possible if we redefine quality and we get multiple links for clients together. One blog post, we can get links to 3 to 4 clients in a creative way (Same industry client) or contextual linking.
According to me, with following criteria, the link is still very valued
1) If the website is good (not made for links, have good backlinks, PR etc etc) &
2) If the page is relevant (on topic)
The reality is: For clients you need all type of quality (the one you can attract, the one you can build)
My Question: We are 65+ members, we are expanding it now, so will these strategies be WIN-WIN? What else we can do to offer cost effective quality services?
Highly appreciate your answer.
