I recently purchased 4 sitewide text links in 1 week to one inner url on my website. The sitewide text links are relevant to my content and I was ranking top 10 positions in the search engine for the one keyword. I just wanted to get more text links to the page and I bought 4 in one week.
Question is, buying 4 text links in one week to one url, is that a trigger for Google saying that I puchased sitewide text links?
The link is relevant!
My url disappered from the top 10 ranking on April/11. Is this because of the text links I puchased 4 in one week or is it the Google Panda update that I got hit with.
My site has many duplicate pages that focus on the same keywords. These are tags though and it seems I got hit with the Panda update because of my tags that are so similiar in content. The ranking keyword that disappered got replaced with another url that focuses on the same keyword and it was one of my tags. Would't the url with links to it be ranked? It disappered from the top 10 position and I see another url (My Tags) on my site ranking for the keyword on Page 13 of the Google search results.
I would still think the url with links to it ranking in the top 10 should still be there. It disappered on April/11 when Google ran the Panda Update. It seemed to have replaced the url with another url on my website and it is on now Page 13 a different url on my site.
Why did the link with links to it disappear and get replaced with a url that has no linking to the page.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
