Depends to a large extent on the page your link will appear on.

Have 1 site listed in BOTW and it shows up very low in my backlinks profile in the open site explorer count. I wouldn't bother with BOTW again, personally.

A better alternative would be to get a blogroll link from a trusted domain in your niche.
