We’ve talked about this topic not too long ago with Ruling Handed Down in Danish Deep Linking Case [webmasterworld.com] You may not think this affects you but it could at some point and deserves a read though at least. Also, To Deep Link or Not To Deep Link [webmasterworld.com] which perhaps hits closer to home.

I’m still interested in people’s take on these issues.

What’s the line we should be taking? Do you ask before you link? Should we have to? Along with that I wonder about our responsibility in what we ‘say’ about the site we’re linking to. In other words should we be concerned about the anchor text folks use to link to our site and the anchor text we use to link to others?
