well, I think we just have to work it out.
what I see in google is link:www.mydomain.com gives me a small number of pages which definately link to www.mydomain.com
If I try link: www.mydomain.com (with a space) I get a lot more results but they quickly include sites which just have the word mydomain in them rather than having a link on the page. So with the space does not seem to provide only pages that link to www.mydomain.com
however, if I try link:mydomain.com I actually get the same result as link:www.mydomain.com
And if I try link: mydomain.com (with the space but without the www) again I get the invalid results which was also produced by link: www.mydomain.com
So I would say that without the space is the way to do it in google, and it does not (for me) make any difference if I include the www or not.
Does that sound reasonable to you amythepoet?
