I wouldn't bother using article sites for links back. You cannot substitute good links from relevant sites.

Most search engines know about the article sites and see them as a waste of time.

I did tests around these sites about 12 months ago and lets just say, I stay well away. If you don't have many links, don't entrust your site to these places - spend a bit more time, write some good content and get some links back to you.
