Hi, I completely agree with you. One should focus on SERPs rather than PR.

But my scenario is, my site is only two months old and has achieved a page rank of 2 due to backlinks from article directories.

Also on page optimization is good which I double checked with some tools. However my page appears only at positions of 60 and above.

Hence with good on page seo, I thought only one thing which could be causing low SERPs is PR. Other cause might be site age.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks in advance.
