Getting links for an ecom site is quite tough considering that you don't have anything informative and valuable to offer other than your products...and unless you are selling really one-of-a-kind and revolutionary products people won't link to you voluntarily...of course you can get links through exchange and trades, but again that's time consuming and the returns you get doesn't justify the time and money spent on them.
