I have to say, as a fairly clueless newbie to web marketing, this is just the post I was waiting for. In many respects, it reinforced my suspicions that my prior attempts at link development were bumbling and outdated. It's good to have those suspicions confirmed by an expert. It also confirms why I spend so much time reading Webmaster World.
