What if the winner of the auction has a PR 6, but their backlinks are fed by triangular link schemes, or is daisy chained with a dozen sites they own, and/or has a twenty page link partner section, etc.? What if it's a site that has been penalized by Google? How will you know? Please don't answer that you will set requirements about the above, because there are many more. A ton more. I'm just showing you how there are considerations you have not anticipated. Are you still okay with linking to that? What kind of website operator is buying links from eBay? Is Google monitoring these sales?
What is a spammy website? What is a clean site? Those terms are so open to interpretation that they may prove virtually useless as prerequisites for participating in the auction.
