It depends on what type of link partnerships you mean. Banner, text, top of the main page, bottom, within content, on a links page, crap sites, quality sites...

Hi sugarrae,

I meant quality sites with links pages that are exchanging links with other quality sites with links pages. I may not have been detailed enough when I said.

I'm looking for some feedback from you if you can let me know just how much traffic you are receiving from your link exchanges?

Which implies that you are actively exchanging links or have been actively exchanging links. I am also implying that your site and those you exchange links with are quality in nature.

In my next statement I am looking for feedback from those Webmasters who regularly check their log statistics to see just how much traffic their link partners are sending them.

I implied that their link partners were located on links pages on quality sites. So the implication is that the links pages are on topic and don't contain many links (i.e., less than 100 links per page). It was also implied that there would be easy access to their links pages from the homepage as well as other pages and that visitors would be compelled to search/browse through the links pages.

I know most people simply exchange links for the link popularity the search engines will give their pages and the boost in the rankings for the exchange but there has to be a few of you who are more savvy and who regularly check your log statistics to see just how much traffic your link partners are sending you in addition to the search engine referral traffic, right?

Your question is like asking "how much does someone get paid if they have a job?" - impossible to answer in general and numbers will vary greatly based upon individual factors, implentations and types of links.

Well, yes, you are right, but the following statement I wrote does help to narrow down the numbers to a comparable number, does it not?

After all, I am asking for a specific number. How many visitors per month per link exchange on average would be a great deal of help for me to know.

Christyl Stevens wrote:

So what are you seeing? Is it like 100 (or a 1,000+) visitors per month per link exchange or is it more like 1 or 2 visitors per month per link exchange?

I then also asked to hear from a very specific group of site owners when I asked for the following.

Also, can I hear from any of you who have like 100 or 1,000+ link partners and your visitor traffic is nonexistent or nearly nonexistent, and what do you believe is the reason for the lack of visitors?

Could it be that your partners have designed their "links pages" in such a way that their visitors are simply ignoring their "links pages" or is it something else?

I hope that helps to clarify some things for you in order for you to give me some feedback, that is if you meet any of the criteria I ask for. Thank you, sugarrae.
