But it's a reasonable expectation that if you get more links you may outpace the other websites. This got me thinking, so I did some research for the term INTERNET MARKETING. The top 10 pages show the following amount of backlinks. 134,000 The top 10 pages for the backlinks query of the #1 page above < link:http://www.domain.com/ > shows the following amount of PageRank for those top 10 pages. PR0 My question is this. Let's assume that all of those pages contain the same anchor text. Would those pages that are a PR0 still pass ranking consideration for the keywords used in the anchor text? I know that PR0 pages don't pass any PageRank, but I would like to know if they still pass ranking points for the keywords? TIA
I have a question for the pros here. I routinely beat aggressively link developed websites, so I know first hand there are limitations tied to other variables.
