If you discount blog links 90%, and you get 100,000, then you've now got 10,000 regular links. The thing about blog links is that it's remarkably easy to get lots of them in a very short amount of time. So unless you completely disregard them (which G never world because of the viral marketing that goes on), it'll always be an advantageous way to gain links for short-term sites. That said, I see some devaluing of blog links, but nothing that's making a large impact in the competitive categories.
If you discount blog links 20%, and you get 10,000, then you've now got 8,000 regular links.
