Don't want to argue but that's not true at at all.
Yes, is there life beyond google and in the other hand many sites are not listed in google but they will soon, next month or some months later. I care about them.
Many listed in google sites have not all pages *currently* listed, it's just a matter of time some pages get listed too. Many of these are linking to me and I want to track them too.

Taking a look at logs is no help.
I need to track domains (not entire urls) to detect whether they are linking or not.

So the question again is:
Do you know a good software or service like a spider to scan a list of domains looking for backlinks?
