Just took a close look through the AltaVista links for a client. Not complaining, but just bewildered.

I found several link pages listed more than once. Same exact url, but different "last modified:" dates. Like Jan 12 and Jan 20 and Jan 28. They didn't drop the dups in half a year?

Makes me wonder if changing and submitting linked pages on a regular basis can get the AV link count up. Of course, doing that intentionally would be trickery, and not really about site content at all.

But it could easily happen by accident. Not my fault if they don't drop their dups.
