Web sites always know what your IP is - the internet does not work, otherwise (although an IP may be directed via a proxy to confuse the issue and POSSIBLY hide your actual IP).

It is a fairly minor matter for a web site to access the geo databases to determine where you are and you can do nothing to stop that.

Add to that the fact that with dynamic IPs (eg phones/tablets) the IP will be different tomorrow - or even in a few minutes' time.
