It did warn me about closing with several tabs open.

I'm thinking about totally wiping-out (uninstall, remove registry entries) Firefox and starting over with a clean install to see if that makes any difference. Did you do a clean install or just an upgrade?

Chrome came preloaded

My suggestion would be to get rid of it completely and then do a clean install.

Loaded Opera, didn't much car for that after a fairly quick look.

I know a few people here, including Brett, love Opera, but I've never been able to wrap my brain around it—it's just too confusing.
