Is Linux still chugging along cozily with 3.6?
A bit slow to reply to this, but...
Linux versions of Firefox come out at the same time as Windows ones AFAIK. Some stable versions of Linux distros provide the FF version from the time of release of the distro version with security updates only, but even these usually have a repo that provides the latest FF if you want it. Ubuntu default repos update to latest FF release within days, and I think that is typical for desktop distros.
