Why only in some and not others? No clue. Is js "installed"? Ditto - where would I begin to look for it if it's not in Program Files? Is this something that resides in a folder under Windows? Is it upgradeable? Since I've never had this problem before with js, I simply haven't any idea where to start.

Edit: I believe I misunderstood what you were getting at, ergophobe. In the case of the js on my own sites, yes, I have the original scripts; since they work just fine in some of the available browsers but not in others, and since they haven't anything specific to IE only (unless they also have a section for NS as one of them does), I'm really at a loss. I've checked with a couple of people who normally use NS and they don't seem to have any problems "seeing" the scripts as meant to display.

AND btw, I'm not getting script-error notifications either. *sigh* I'd be willing to bet this is some stupid something I did without realizing it - happens to me fairly frequently!
