favicons disappearing after a session

Often and inconsistently. Some are highly persistent and others are not.

No. It jumps terribly when scrolling, but it doesn't resize per se.

Constant forgetting of usernames and passwords.

The password manager for Fire* is terrible. Many logins that work fine in Mozilla, IE and Opera do not work in Firefox and Firebird. There's a lot of Bugzilla talk on these issues. The one that plagues me the most is that, unlike the other browsers, Fire* only accepts logins of the form

password

you're out of luck. If you look in your passwords list, you'll see that these are never properly entered, so they *are* remembered, they are just remebered incorrectly.

Fire* is my favorite browsers, but it's definitely not up to version 1.0 standards yet. Unfortunately, some of the issues with it go back to Mozilla .4 and are still on the bug list.

Nope. Followed the instructions for uninstalling Firebird before installing Firefix.
