I remain hopeful. There has to be a way of getting rid of that thing... it makes my browser window shorter. I'm using Littlefox as the theme, because it gives me more webpage and less IE type clutter at the top, and it bugs me to see anything intruding on it.

As far as Flash goes, I can't handle that stuff flashing at me. I keep the install file handy in case I really need it for a site, and then promptly delete the plug-in file afterwards.
